The October 11, 2011 System Update (Dash 13604) does not reflash your drive to stock nor does it prevent backup playback.

FAQ directly from #c4e IRC (as of Oct. 2, 2011)
• Determine what fw to use by reading the F/W Rev on the drive properties section at JungleFlasher.
• For slims: Make sure you have a dump from JF 1.87 or later from your original drive
• Please make sure you’re on latest dash and fw before running XGD3 games
• XGD3 games (originals and back-ups) give E66 error with spoofed drives If you get update error ensure you are running stock fw before trying to update again (with the same update version) and you don’t have a spoofed drive which in this case get a new drive as the original model.
• Don’t confuse 025 with 0225! The first are 02510C phat drives while the later are 0225 slim drives.
• If loading pre-13146 fw on source JungleFlasher will autoload 1.1. This is completely normal. If you want to use your old files ensure that xbox is updated first, then manual load the 2.0 fw and press spoof source to target
• ALL 02510C phat lite-on drives can only be dumped with MRA or PhatKey method. Any other drive can be dumped exactly as before.
• When spoofing from old fw to new one it IS normal to say serial info not copied and ID strings not copied to target.
• For the ones that want to flash their 74850C liteon drives to stock use the 1a000 file. Don’t ask why, just do it.
• Because Microsoft has enabled the write protect on 9504/0272 drives with the 13599 update, now ALL slim Lite-On drives are write-protected. The only methods to counter that are T-X pcbs, pro kits, sputnik360 and kamikaze. Proceed with caution.
• The 13146 update, writes stock fw on all drives except Hitachi and already locked drives, all phat lite-on drives now become 02510C, 9504 become 0272, all benq drives become 04421C and Samsung are just patched.
• 13146/13599 update can’t retrieve your key if you don’t have it on drive.

My target key shows FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. What do I do?
With your dummy.bin loaded into source, click spoof source to target.

What do the folders (drive)_Post/Pre_13141 mean?
Post_13141: new firmware (1.9) after the 13146 (May 2011) dash update
Pre_13141: firmware (1.1) before the 13146 (May 2011) dash update

Why is there only one LiteOn Firmware (phat)?
After the 13146 (May 2011) dash update, all phat LiteOn drives now have the FW Ver. 02510c. Because of this change, only one firmware is needed.

My JungleFlasher fails to open. It says it is missing libusb0.dll. What do I do?
1) Open root JF folder
2) Open folder called "libusb"
3) Copy libusb0.dll
4) Paste libusb0.dll in root folder

Which orig-74580c FW do I use? 1a000,1b000,1c000,1e000?
note: this method can also be used for BenQ
1) Load your dummy.bin into source
2) Check what it says at DVD Key @
3) Use the corresponding orig-74580c FW.
